Charlotte Wilson

I came into the family business after completing a BA (Hons.) Equine Studies at Warwickshire College of Agriculture. A year after completing the degree I achieved the BHS Instructor’s qualification. From this time to the present day I have had two children and continued to compete numerous horses in all disciplines and train many riders.

Riding to National level in dressage and winning the Retraining of Racehorse Elementary Championship 2011 and the SEIB & ROR Elite Dressage Performance Award 2011. My involvement with the ROR has given me the opportunity to parade at Aintree at the Grand National Meet at Chester Races and to be the trainer of the ROR Quadrill. The ROR Quadrille has performed at the European Junior Eventing Championships 2014 and Champions Day at Ascot 2014. 2015 performances are taking us to Chatsworth Horse Trials, Blenheim horse trials and the ROR Championship Show at Aintree, with the Quadrille we have great fun and get a lot of pleasure from seeing these x-racehorses star at these big events. More recently becoming a List 4 dressage Judge a UKCC Level 3 British Dressage Accredited Coach and UKCC Level 3 Generic Coach.

The horses I am competing presently are Minita Fleur who is 7 years old she is Irish Draught cross Belgian Warmblood, she belongs to my brother.  She came to Snainton as a three year old and is now graded Medium in dressage with over 230 points. She is a very consistent competitor and competed at the Winter Nationals 2015.

My other horse Flame Dancer is five years old, we are very excited about her as we bred her and want her to be a super star. She has just started her competition life and will concentrate on young horse classes this year.

I am driven by training the horses and all the pupils who come to Snainton and love to see everyone achieving their own goals.
