I came into the family business after completing a BA (Hons.) Equine Studies at Warwickshire College of Agriculture. A year after completing the degree I achieved the BHS Performance Coach BHSI qualification. From this time to the present day I have had two children and continued to compete numerous horses in all disciplines and train many riders.
I continued my qualifications becoming a British Dressage Level 3 Accredited coach and BD Youth Assessor a Level 3 Generic Coach, a List 1 Dressage Judge, Para Judge and Para Coach.
I have trained a variety of horses in different disciplines, I have enjoyed a large involvement in the Retraining of Racehorses organisation (ROR), after winning the Retraining of Racehorse Elementary Championship 2011 and the SEIB & ROR Elite Dressage Performance Award 2011. My involvement with the ROR has given me the opportunity to parade at Aintree at the Grand National Meet at Chester Races and to be the trainer of the ROR Musical Display Team for four years, performing at many prestigious events around the country.
My continued passion for coaching led me to complete a Masters Degree in Sports Coaching. My coaching qualifications have given me the opportunity to become a British Dressage Level 2 Coach Educator. In 2024 I was also appointed a Mentor for British Dressage working either for British Dressage or independently supporting riders, coaches or judges to achieve their goals.
I am also an Ambassador for Plateau Holistic Equine and K. M. Elite Stride Free Saddles.
I am driven by training horses and all the pupils who come to Snainton and love to see everyone achieving their own goals.
