About

Snainton Riding Centre is situated in beautiful North Yorkshire, first established in 1970 by Alec and Elaine Lyall. This family run business is now managed by their daughter Charlotte Nichols.

In the centre's long history many career students, competition riders, children and adults have enjoyed developing their equestrian abilities here. The centre has seen pupils from all over the world and from many generations.

Today, we focus on providing education to riders on their own horses in the disciplines of dressage, show-jumping and cross-country. The superb facilities offer a platform for friendly competitions and a home to livery horses. Livery horses enjoy the benefit of first class and knowledgable stable management.

On site we also have two idyllic Holiday Cottages, offering people the opportunity to holiday with their horse, and create a personal adventure whether it be training or enjoying the superb hacking in the area.
