Snainton Riding Centre has established a reputation as an important competition venue in North Yorkshire. Throughout the summer we hold five affiliated dressage competitions and six unaffiliated competitions. All details for affiliated competitions can be found in the British Dressage Omnibus Schedules. The first five unaffiliated competitions
include one preliminary and one novice class. The first four
competitors in each class will qualify for our final Championship
show which is held at the end of the summer. Competitors will
be competing for the Preliminary Championship to which Mrs Pamela
Macfie has kindly donated the Champagne Punch Cup, and the Novice
Championship with the chance to win The World Boy Cup. All our competitions at Snainton Riding Centre offer a superb opportunity for clients to practise their skills and for spectators to come and watch - an event to be enjoyed by everyone.
We provide excellent tuition in dressage, show-jumping and cross-country and offer substantial help to many pupils competing in these disciplines at affiliated and unaffiliated levels. For all pupils who are interested more in competition training we advise that you book for either private lessons with the senior instructors or join in with the discipline specific clinics.
Dressage Clinics are run on a Tuesday evening with Alec Lyall BHSI from 6.30 pm until 7.30 pm and cost £22. These clinics are for riders with their own horses.
Jump Clinics run every Monday morning from 10 am until 11 am and cost £22. Please click here if you would like to download a competition entry form. |
